Whimsical frog

This frog was created in class. The goal was to push ourselves to try something new, so I decided to try and make a creature, a non biped. It was quite hard to figure out the anatomy in a way that was both stylized and realistic enough that it still looked like a frog. I had a lot of fun doing this sculpt and am excited to try sculpting other creatures.

I based my concept off of John Su's frog drawing, but expended upon it to find a concept I wanted to sculpt. I also did a lot of exploration in terms of color palettes and sculpt details.

Here you can see the steps I went through to finish this character. It was the first non biped I had ever made and had quite a bit of trouble figuring out the anatomy.
